The customer journey
The project will follow a home service prospect from an initial inquiry through qualification and follow-up. The goal is to connect the form, the contact record, the messages, and the sales handoff into one understandable lifecycle rather than a collection of disconnected emails.
Capture and qualification
I plan to define the information needed at signup, record permission, and map the prospect’s service interest into contact properties. Qualification rules will explain why a contact belongs in a segment and what should happen next. Example scenarios will include a new inquiry, an engaged prospect, and a contact who should not receive marketing messages.
Nurture and handoff
The planned email sequence will respond to the prospect’s interest and stage. Each step will have an entry condition, a useful message, and an exit rule. Booking or conversion should stop the relevant nurture sequence. A sales handoff will carry the contact’s context forward so the next interaction does not start from scratch.
What I will build
- A journey map showing capture, consent, qualification, nurture, and handoff.
- A contact property and segmentation plan with clear enrollment rules.
- Responsive email templates for the main lifecycle stages.
- A local scenario viewer for exploring workflow decisions.
- A HubSpot implementation and walkthrough as the platform work progresses.
How I will review it
I will walk through consent changes, repeated form submissions, unsubscribes, and conversion exits. The final case study will show the configured workflow, message examples, and reporting definitions so visitors can follow the journey from the initial event to its outcome.
Next steps
- Implement and test the planned local demonstration.
- Collect platform evidence separately.
